Visual Comparison: Honda Civic 10th Gen vs 11th Gen Prototype
As one of the most sought-after cars among young consumers, the all-new 2022 Honda Civic features a sleek, modern design, a high-tech, driver-focused interior, and cutting-edge active and passive safety systems—making it the most fun-to-drive and technologically advanced Civic Sedan in the model’s nearly 50-year history.

Compared to the striking design of the 10th-generation Civic, the 11th-generation model adopts a much more minimalist approach. The sharp creases and segmented hood, along with the bold ‘Solid Wing’ front fascia and aggressively styled bumper featuring multiple air intakes and sculpted fog lamp housings, give the 10th-gen a more dynamic presence. In contrast, the 11th-gen Civic features a sleeker grille, a wider, unified lower air intake, and a smoother, more restrained bumper design.

Like its predecessor, the 11th-generation Civic Hatchback is expected to offer a manual transmission with the Sport trim, which will likely continue to feature the available 180-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four engine.

In addition to the standard Normal and Eco driving modes, the 2022 Civic’s 2.0L Sport and 1.5L Touring trims now offer a user-selectable Sport mode. Activated via a toggle switch on the center console, Sport mode adjusts drive ratios and throttle mapping for a more dynamic driving experience, while also changing the instrument panel lighting to red. Eco mode, on the other hand, reduces throttle response, transmission sensitivity, and air conditioning output to enhance fuel efficiency.

Today, many car enthusiasts choose to modify their lighting to make their vehicles more unique and personalized. VLAND is a top choice for upgrading headlights and taillights, with each product originally designed by passionate car lovers. In the near future, we’ll be launching custom headlights and taillights specifically for the 11th-generation Honda Civic.
