Adjusting VLAND headlight beam patterns correctly is essential for safe driving and to avoid dazzling other road users. Start by parking your vehicle on a level surface facing a flat wall, about 7–10 metres away, and make sure the tyres are properly inflated and the vehicle is at normal load. Turn on the low beams and mark the centre and height of each headlight beam on the wall using tape. Using the adjustment screws on the VLAND headlight housing, raise or lower and slightly angle the beams so they sit just below the marked headlight height and point straight ahead with a slight outward spread. Proper alignment improves night-time visibility, ensures even road illumination, and helps keep your vehicle compliant with Australian road safety standards.
